One of India’s early poker visionaries, Manish Adnani has been appointed by PokerBaazi as PokerBaazi LIVE’s head! The 49 year old has been a part of the Indian poker ecosystem since the start of it and has seen the growth of the sport in the country very closely.
A key contributor to the live scene in Goa since 2016, Manish Adnani has aggressive plans for PokerBaazi LIVE. It’s interesting to note that Manish’s association with PokerBaazi dates back to 2016 for the first ever edition of the Baazi Poker Tour.
The tournament series saw huge success under Manish’s administration. He has now taken charge of the operations and management of PokerBaazi LIVE! Manish is a true lover of the game and someone who understands what it will take for poker to be accepted by the masses in this country.
He’s been working on it for so long and now that the industry is booming, there’s no time to stop but rather keep pushing forward and help the industry grow even further. The coming years are going to be crucial in the development and popularity of poker in the country.
Since the pandemic hit, online poker has really taken off but the live poker scene in the country took a massive hit. PokerBaazi along with Manish Adnani will be looking to restore the glory and prestige of live poker events in the country and are looking to achieve international standards of live poker excellence!
Manish Adnani himself had a few encouraging words about partnering up with PokerBaazi again. He said, “TGFP is extremely pleased to partner with Poker Baazi Group. I have personally worked with the team in 2016 to launch Baazi Poker Tour and they are a dynamic and passionate team headed by Navkiran Singh who has taken the team to great heights.
I am extremely stoked and excited to begin this journey. As Navi quoted Steve Jobs recently and I second, “If you have enough passion for something, you will always have enough patience for it to become successful”, we look forward to passionately promoting poker at PokerBaazi Live and offer our community a world class experience in the coming days. Godspeed.”
Varun Ganjoo, Marketing Director at Baazi Games, the parent group of PokerBaazi.com, was in high spirits when speaking about their new appointment. He said, “We’ve worked together quite successfully in the past and now, our association with Manish comes at the most opportune time as it is a great time for poker in India. The next 10 years are going to be crucial for the sport in the country! We assure all of our players that along with Manish, we’re going to be bringing a lot more to the table in the coming years!”
